A treasured gift or a lasting memento. Pet and people portraits from Ann Holden
Short eared owl at Parkgate. A portrait of you...or your pet?.
Ann specialises in portraits of animals or people, using coloured or graphite pencil to produce lifelike pictures of someone close to your heart. Ann is a veterinary surgeon who ran her own surgery for 11 years – one of the reasons she started drawing animals, before progressing to their owners.

But Archie has not been resting on his laurels! Following his holiday with his people in May (two weeks in a narrowboat, completing a circuit of the Four Counties Ring), Archie has written a small book about his experiences. It is in full colour and has been well-received by readers all over the country. Archie asked that any profits from the sale of the book should go towards the work of the charity, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. Copies of this not-to-be-missed, entertaining read are available from Ann, at £3.99 a copy, plus 50p P&P.
